The Town Council give small community grants to help local organisations and groups to improve and enhance the community of Woburn Sands.
Who can apply and what will be required to consider the request?
- Charities, non-profit organisations, community clubs, societies and groups who are based or run in Woburn Sands
- The organisation or group should indicate clearly why the monies are required
- What is the benefit to the residents of Woburn Sands from the project or receipt of the monies
- What if any further fund raising from other parties has been arranged / proposed
The Town Council have limited funds to award, please look at the amounts awarded previously and to whom to get an idea if your group could be successful.
Grants are not awarded to commercial or profit making organisations.
For all grant funding applications, the Town Council will normally expect to see the latest financial statement.

The application window for applying will be from 1st April - 31 October 2023
In exceptional cases the Town Council may consider a grant application outside of the Timetable deadline.
