Edgewick Farm is owned by the Town Council and managed by the Greensand Trust. Most of the work of maintaining the three fields of the former small holding is carried out by The Friends of Edgewick Farm. Under the terms of the transfer of ownership from Milton Keynes Council to Woburn Sands Town Council two important considerations were specified:

1. The fields should be kept as unimproved pasture land of rotational grazing.

2. The public should be allowed access to any fields not being grazed.


The Friends of Edgewick Farm was set up at the transfer of ownership and raised considerable funds for the second condition above to be met. They have continued their sterling work to maintain the farmland ever since.
