News from Asplands Surgery

We are proud to have been able to take part in this programme which hopes to offer some protection to our local community.  We have now invited all of our over 70s and clinically extremely vulnerable.  Vaccination uptake has been good and more that 90% of these most at risk groups have now been vaccinated.

This is still a huge undertaking and in addition to inviting back all of those patients who have had a vaccine for a second dose, we hope to be able to offer first vaccines to more patient groups soon.  For more information on our vaccine programme please look at our Facebook page or practice website which we update regularly.  This means we can keep our phone lines free for patients with medical need.
The vaccination program would not have been possible without the support of our retired colleagues and wonderful volunteers.  Much of what we have been able to achieve with this vaccination programme would not have been possible without the continued support of our community.  So, thank you to all our patients for attending and trusting us to give us your vaccine and to everyone who has given time to vaccinate, marshal, support our admin team and keep the roads clear and the surgery accessible.
